The International Study of the Organized Persecution of Children (ISOPC), formerly Child Development Research is dedicated to restoring and preserving the mental health of children especially those who have suffered under the extreme trauma of organized persecution. This includes documenting patterns of normal child development and the disruptions, remedy distortions, and adaptations which occur during and in the aftermath of trauma.

Many books published by ISOPC associated authors are held in the New National Library in Jerusalem. Our authors have published books and articles exploring approaches which can ameliorate the long term effects on victims of past, present, and future mass dehumanizations.
It is the library of Hebrew University in Jerusalem that houses the Kestenberg archives of interviews with child survivors of the Holocaust, described under our projects.
